November in der Schweiz eingeführtDieses Release stellt das umfangreichste Update seit der Einführung von Polaris dar und bringt wesentliche Verbesserungen, die Integration, Kommunikation und Benutzererlebnis auf allen Organisationsebenen deutlich erweitern. Die wichtigsten Neuerungen dieses Releases sind:Die neue SEMDA 3.0-Schnittstelle zu Rotary International, die eine nahtlose und deutlich zuverlässigere Datensynchronisierung zwischen den Plattformen gewährleistet. Dieses Upgrade verbessert die Genauigkeit und Effizienz in der Mitgliederverwaltung erheblich.Darüber hinaus wurden die Mitglieder-Assistenten (Wizards) vollständig überarbeitet. Die Prozesse für die Anlage eines neuen Mitglieds, den Transfer oder den Austritt wurden wesentlich vereinfacht und intuitiver gestaltet. Die Benutzer werden nun Schritt für Schritt durch jeden Vorgang geführt, wodurch Fehler reduziert und die Datenverarbeitung deutlich erleichtert wird.Flexible Filter- und Empfängerlisten, die es Clubs, Distrikten und Multi-Distrikten ermöglichen, individuelle Empfängerlisten für die Kommunikation zu erstellen. Diese neuen Werkzeuge machen es möglich, Informationen gezielter, effizienter und transparenter über alle Organisationsebenen hinweg zu verbreiten. Gemeinsam stellen diese Verbesserungen einen wichtigen Meilenstein in der Weiterentwicklung von Polaris dar – sie bieten mehr Funktionalität, bessere Zusammenarbeit und ein insgesamt reibungsloseres, benutzerfreundlicheres Erlebnis für alle Organisationen. WELCOME TO ROTARY DISTRICT 1990
Rotary is a globally recognized service organization, active across all continents. At the heart of Rotary are more than 47,000 clubs that make a difference both locally and internationally. The global Rotary family includes over 1.3 million members.
In our District, we have 81 clubs — including three Rotaract clubs — with approximately 4,600 Rotarians. Around two-thirds of our clubs are Francophone and one-third are German-speaking. This bilingual character is a true asset: it brings richness, diversity, and opportunities that many other districts simply don’t have.
Rotary is built on strong values. The Four-Way Test provides a solid foundation to guide our decisions and shape our projects. These four timeless questions, developed over a century ago, remain remarkably relevant — especially in today’s rapidly changing world.
A Rotarian is someone who actively seeks to serve their community and puts others before themselves. Rotary brings together people of diverse backgrounds — men and women of different professions, cultures, and nationalities. This diversity is a core value in Rotary. It strengthens our ability to implement projects effectively and broadens our perspectives in both discussion and decision-making.
The heart of Rotary is service through projects — both local and international. Our global Rotary Foundation is recognized as one of the most efficient in the world, with more than 95% of donations going directly to support projects. This is possible thanks to the extensive global presence of Rotary clubs and the close collaboration among them.
The theme for the Rotary year 2025–26 is “Unite for Good.” It invites all of us — Rotarians and clubs — to work together in service. In this spirit, our District has launched the “Moléson” project, a collaborative initiative that brings clubs together across the “Röstigraben.” It also offers apprentices the opportunity to discover another language and culture — building bridges and fostering understanding.
